                                                At St. Paul, Preble

WE WELCOME Rev. Dr. Charles Gieschen, professor at CTS-Ft. Wayne, as our preacher and teacher this morning. Dr. Gieschen regularly teaches at the Seminary on Revelation. He will teach today's Bible Class on Revelation 20. Please join us in Bible Class for this special presentation.

LITURGY NOTES: In the Season of Lent, the Gloria in Excelsis and Alleluia are omitted. Stanza 1 of the Hymn Lamb of God, Pure and Holy, LSB 434 will take the place of the Agnus Dei.

MIDWEEK LENT SERVICES are at 7pm Weds with a supper prior at 5:45. Our Lenten theme this year is "Penitential Psalms." This Wed, Dr. Brege preaches on Psalm 130.

YOUTH/PALM SUNDAY: since this year’s Palm Sunday observance will include a children’s procession and a youth choral selection, join your Sunday School class for practice with the organist each Sunday as we prepare to adorn these services with our music and praise.

EASTER BREAKFAST: There are sign-up sheets in the back of church for items that we are asking to be donated. Youth in grades 6-12 are each asked to help with one or more item if possible.  Donations from families who do not have children in youth are gladly welcomed as well! We are also looking for items to decorate the tables if you prefer not to cook! In addition, we will need help serving and clean up on Easter morning. It has worked out well in the past for those that will be going to the sunrise service to help with the second shift in the kitchen and clean up and those going to second service to help with food prep and first shift. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jennifer Faurote at 260-223-1509. We thank you for your generosity and the opportunity to serve others while enjoying fellowship on such a joyful morning!

EASTER FLOWERS: Order forms for Easter flowers are in the narthex. Please place the form in the envelope and then in the box.  We will be taking orders this week until April 4th.  Any questions please call Kelly Todd at 466-7494.

WORLD-FAMOUS PREBLE NOODLES will be created on April 1st and 2nd starting at 7am. Your help is appreciated. Lunch is provided.

MEETING CHANGE. The Elders, Council, and Voter's meeting dates have been MOVED to 22 and 23 April (the previous dates conflicted with the Wyneken Association meeting, which is 7pm April 30).

VBS MEETING at St. John, Bingen April 25th at 6pm. We need volunteers to sign up! Preble is responsible for making 1-2 meals. Please talk to Pr. Yeager if available and interested in this meeting—we need a good show of support from St. Paul, Preble for this year’s VBS!

LADIES’ AID meeting is 7pm on April 25th due to Easter.

GENTLY USED/BAKE SALE. St Paul Ladies Aid is having a Gently Used and Bake Sale. It will take place on Friday, April 26 from 8am to 4pm and on Saturday, April 27 from 8am to 11am.  Saturday is $2 a bag.

WYNEKEN ASSOCIATION MEETING is April 30th at 7pm.
